Welcome you and your pets to The Wai Landscape Garden! To ensure you can spend a wonderful time here, please comply with following Terms and Conditions. By bringing your pet into The Wai Landscape Garden, you are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Only domesticated pet dogs and cats (“Pet(s)”) are permitted to enter The Wai Landscape Garden (“Garden”). Prior written consent of The Wai Management Office (“Management Office”) should be obtained for other animals entering the Garden.
2. Pet(s) are permitted to walk on the Garden but should remain on leash, which should not be longer than 1.5 meters in length. Medium or large dogs (over 40cm) are also required to wear mask.
3. All pets are required to be on a leash, and carried either by pet stroller, bag or be held in the indoor area, except guide dogs.
4. “Fighting dogs”, or other “known dangerous dogs” as classified under the Dangerous Dogs Regulation (Cap 167D) should not enter The Wai.
5. Pet(s) should not be left unattended under any circumstances.
6. Each owner of Pet (“Pet Owner”) should bring no more than 2 Pet(s) to the Garden.
7. The opening hours of the Garden will be from 1000hrs to 2200hrs daily. Change of opening hours may not be informed in advance.
8. Dogs should be duly inoculated against rabies and all Pet(s) should be fully vaccinated against common infectious disease. Management Office may require from Pet Owner for relevant proof of vaccination.
9. Do not enter the Garden if your pet’s health condition is ill or sick including carrying infectious diseases.
10. Pet Owners shall keep their Pet(s) under control effectively and shall take full responsibilities of its behaviours in order not to cause nuisance or danger to others and pets.
11. Pet Owners shall keep the Garden clean and hygienic at all times. Pet Owners shall immediately clean up any fouls or urine the Pet(s) have deposited and shall use sealed bags, containers and/or tools for proper waste disposal. Management Office may request Pet Owner to pay relevant cleaning charges for improper use of the Garden.
12. Pet Owners shall be solely responsible for any injuries to their Pet(s) and/or for any injuries and/or damage to and/or loss of property and/or other pets and/or belongings of others while staying at the Garden. For the avoidance of doubt, Management Office shall be under no liability or responsibility for any injuries, damage and loss howsoever caused to the third party/ pets through the use of the Garden.
13. Management Office shall be under no liability or responsibility for any loss, injury or damage howsoever caused to the third party/pets through the use of the Garden.
14. If Pet Owners are found to be in breach of any of these Terms and Conditions and/or if Management Office in its sole discretion determines that the Pet(s) has become a danger or threat to and/or a disturbance to others, Management Office shall have the right to deny Pet Owners and their Pet(s) of entry to the Garden or shall request Pet Owners and their Pet(s) to leave from the Garden immediately.
15. Pet Owners shall observe and comply with all directions and measures given from time to time by Management Office including but not limited to social distancing, crowd control and management of the Garden.
16. Smoking is prohibited in the Garden.
17. In case of adverse weather, maintenance work and other special circumstances, Management Office reserves right to close the whole or any part of the Garden without prior notice.
18. Children must be accompanied by adult in the Garden. Do not run or chase in the Garden to prevent from kinds of accidents.
19. Management Office has the right to interpret these Terms and Conditions. In case of disputes, the decision of Management Office will be final and binding on all parties concerned.
20. The Chinese version of these Terms and Conditions is for reference only. In case of discrepancies between the provisions of the English version and the Chinese version, the English version shall prevail.
21. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
